Each of our ministries and events incorporate our Student Ministry mission statement by either Reaching Up, Reaching In, or Reaching Out. So, whether you're in college or in the MYG, we have something for you.
College Ministries

Sunday Morning Class
At the current time we encourage our college-age students to attend the Life Builders class with Tom Haddon. They are trying to prepare a special area for our college students to connect.
Wednesday Nights
On these nights, we encourage our College-Age to attend the service in Bixler Chapel for Prayer and Praise. This is a wonderful time of worship!

Sunday Mornings
Each Sunday, students come together for a brief time before they head to their classes. Our classes are divided by grades with a Deacon and four to five Coaches in each class who teach each week. At certain times during the year, our Coaches get a break from teaching as the MYG spends class time together as a group.
Wednesday Nights
Our Wednesday nights change each semester to offer a variety of classes. Here are a few of the different ways we set up:
Electives
We offer approximately five classes, each with a different subject matter. Students choose the class they want to attend and are encouraged to stay with that class throughout the semester.
Small Groups
Small groups provide the students an opportunity for accountability among their peers. A Coach is present in each small group.
Bixler
The first Wednesday of each month is set-aside for teens to worship with our church family. We have services in Bixler Chapel and in the Auditorium. Teens are encouraged to attend the class that best suits their worship style.
Student Led Ministries
Kid’s Club
The MYG loves kids! This student-led outreach ministry targets youth, ages 4-13. Twice a month during the school year, children from the Charter Village community are transported to the church building for an evening full of spiritual excitement and energy. Teens use fun and innovative ways to share the gospel. The atmosphere is electric! The children are introduced to Jesus through sensational songs, interactive lessons, and creative crafts. Before and after each Kids Club session, teens pray together for God’s blessing to be on the ministry and the children involved. Kids Club takes place on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, from 4-6 pm. Volunteers should meet in the Student Ministry Office by 3 pm. (photos)
Sunday Night Live
Student-led and run, Sunday Night Live is a place where the MYG comes to really worship as well as to bring friends. It creates a very open environment for outsiders as well as a place of support and prayer for MYG’ers. It’s a highlight of the week. It usually includes hangout time, worship, and a great time of prayer. Sunday Night Live takes place the fourth Sunday of each month during the school year.
